POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for c systems, electronic components of machinery and equipment in shifts. He will be able to work with minimal supervision of vendors,take initiative, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
ESSESNTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Addressing FFS packing machine breakdowns.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical parts, equipment and systems.
Updation of daily records like water, fuel and electrical consumption.
Adhere to DG & fire system daily, weekly & monthly checks.
Month fire extinguishers checking and updation of history cards.
Portable power tools & Welding machine connections to support external vendors.
Motor terminal connections (DOL& Star/Delta)
Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical works support.
Follow work permit system & operating and maintenance instructions.
Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes, OSHA and standard industry safety rules/regulations.
Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance.
Maintain accurate and complete records, document all work performed appropriately.
Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to Supervisor.
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Adhere to good housekeeping practices.
Follow LOTO while doing any type of maintenance.
Must be able to use electrical measuring tools like multi meter, earth megger, etc..
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects,
and the need for adjustment or repair,
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)
ITI electrician with wire man license holder from State electricity board or Diploma electrical.
3 to 5 years work experience in seed industry or process industry or relevant
experience and or/ training that includes repair, and maintenance of electrical
systems equipment.
Minimum knowledge on fire alarm, fire hydrant system.
Ability to read and understand instructions and SOP
Problem-solving skills
Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
