Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide field support for gas turbine field issues
Preparing timely and accurate technical reports for customer records on the RCA’s conducted
Provide technical assistance through Service Now to resolve customers gas turbine technical issues
Lead retrofit application engineering projects supporting commercial/ sales team
Work with sales teams in identifying upgrade opportunities and present to customer as required
Serve as a subject matter expert within the area of services engineering for gas turbines
Work with team members and customer’s technical staff to address customer concerns
Provide technical direction to the field services team
Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality and on-time
Maintain a current level of understanding of fleet issues with associated corrective actions
Develop and implement engineering processes and documentation as required
Track product service and application engineering metrics
Support business growth initiatives.
Mentor and coach Graduate Engineer Trainees/ Engineers
Education and Experience
B.E/ B.Tech Engineering graduate with specialization in Mechanical
8-10 years of experience in gas turbine and accessories engineering
Working experience in gas turbine product service support and/or application engineering
Experience in gas turbine performance calculation will be an added advantage
Exposure to power plant and other rotating equipment is desirable
Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Customer centric approach/mindset
Ability to work in a cross functional environment
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
