B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical) with specialized subjects in Air conditioning & Refrigeration.
· 8-10 years experience in a Continuous process plant. Candidates with working experience in Cryogenic (food processing) industry is preferable.
· Must be thorough in Ammonia refrigeration system.
· Must have experience in Operation and Primary Maintenance of various Reciprocating as well as Screw type Ammonia / Freon Compressors, Individual Quick Freezer, Plate Freezers, Cooling Tower and Pumps, Chilled water Plant, centrifugal Water Pumps and other industrial process equipment.
· Should be able to independently maintain the service records and Log books.
· Should be able to diagnose fault in case of a breakdown in his respective field.
· Must be able to calculate refrigeration tonnage required for various loads – suggest proper equipment in different lines of production.
· Must be familiarized with the statutory norms.
· Should have basic knowledge of various types of Maintenance like Preventive, predictive, corrective etc.
· Knowledge of Work Permit and Safety procedures is a must.
· Should be capable of leading a maintenance team of 10 – 15 persons.
