Responsibilities
Participate as Regional Service Team Member.
Lead execution of retrofit projects.
Execute project management and technical advisor duties.
Support trouble shooting issues.
Work to be performed at customer locations through India, Bangladesh, Srilanka, etc.,
Timely completion of site/service/inspection reports and other administrative activities.
Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.
Support business growth initiatives.
Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and reference for future outages.
Prepare job planning documents that define in the scope of outages to be performed
through engineering instructions, drawings and process instruction.
Provide technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sites.
Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical
requirements within GE safety standards.
Desired profile of the candidate
B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
10-12 years of experience in maintenance and trouble shooting of Gas Turbines, etc.,
Exposure to power plant and other rotating equipment’s is desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational skills & presentation skills.
Computer familiarity to MS Office.
Customer centric approach/mindset.
Ability to learn other software tool applications to support HMI and other applicationchanges.
Position requires extensive travel.
